  • Initial assessment

    1 hour: $200 CAD

  • Sessions (returning clients)

    50 minutes: $150 CAD

  • Reports

    $85 CAD
    For those who would like a written report after the initial assessment, I will summarize the session and provide written recommendations or a treatment plan.

  • Parents’ sessions

    25 minutes: $85 CAD | 50 minutes: $150 CAD

    *Consent is required from your teenager for me to discuss content from their sessions.

  • Consultation

    50 minutes: $150 CAD
    Virtual | Eastern Time Zone
    This is a good option if you have questions about therapy for your teenager or yourself, how to navigate the healthcare system (Canada), or need some general guidance around eating disorders.

  • Consultation for professionals

    1 hour: $75 CAD

    For those who are interested in discussing the role of occupational therapy in eating disorders.

Payment

  • Payment methods

    I accept credit cards and e-transfers. All sessions are invoiced after the apppointment and are due upon receipt.

  • Autism Funding

    If your teenager has an autism diagnosis, your funding through the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) can be used for sessions with me as a registered occupational therapist.

  • Canadian Taxes

    Speak with your accountant or tax preparer, as occupational therapy fees are tax deductible as medical expenses. They are also GST/HST exempt.

Insurance / Extended Benefits

You might have coverage from your Ontario extended health insurance plan for an occupational therapist. Please look for “occupational therapy” in your coverage, usually in the paramedical or mental health sections of your plan. Some insurers also accept my services as a psychotherapist, but it’s best to confirm with them first: ask them if they cover psychotherapy services provided by an occupational therapist. (In January 2025, Sun Life let me know that they will only accept claims for my services if you have “occupational therapy” coverage, but policies change regularly.)

For those who have confirmed their coverage, I will provide you with a receipt after each session is paid, which you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
